Meet Attorney

Joshua Sylla

Joshua Sylla joined Snyder & Ek, S.C. in 2014 after graduating from Suffolk University Law School located in Boston, Massachusetts and moving to Wisconsin. He is originally from West Central Wisconsin. Josh concentrates his practice in transactional law, primarily in the areas of real estate, contract review and drafting, business matters, estate planning, and trust and estate administration. His real estate practice includes representing parties in the purchase and sale of property in both the residential and commercial setting, and assisting clients with general real estate matters, including leasing, zoning, easements, HOA and condominium association rules, and land use and development.

Josh received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in political science. After graduating, he moved to Milwaukee and lived there for two years before enrolling at Suffolk University Law School. During law school, Josh served as a Note Editor of the Suffolk University Law Review, held internships with the City of Boston’s Department of Labor Relations and U.S. Magistrate Judge Marianne B. Bowler, clerked for an insurance defense law firm, and volunteered with the American Bar Association’s Access to Justice Project.

During his spare time, Josh enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife (also a Waukesha County attorney), playing with his golden retriever, watching sports and movies, and golfing.
